Bohinj Alpine Chalet
This new purpose built Alpine Chalet on the edge of lake Bohinj is wonderfully located. Just 150m from shops, bars, restaurants and 200m the lake, it is tucked away in a peaceful corner.
Equipped with 2 double and 1 twin bedrooms, two bathrooms, modern open plan downstairs layout and patio areas. It is equipped to sleep 6 people upstairs, plus the option of 2 extra downstairs on pull out beds.
For the Winter season, it is just 5 minutes from both Vogel and Kobla resorts, with a Ski Bus stop conveniently located.
This beautiful lake is bigger and more peaceful than lake Bled. It is in the Triglav National Park and is in the heart of the Julian Alps. It is also less touched by development, although there is plenty to do and see, and local facilities are excellent.
The Sava Bohinjska River runs directly behind the chalet. There are some fabulous walks and leisurely cycle routes from the chalet.
Cycles, mopeds and kayaks are available for hire just minutes away. A wonderful boat ride will take you to the other end of lake, 4km away. For a more active time, mountain and adventure sports are aplenty.
Most of all, it is the ideal place to sit back, relax and just enjoy the grandeur and peace of the surroundings.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped for a self catering holiday, with hobs, oven, toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge and freezer.
The open plan dining area allows for relaxed dining with family and friends.
WiFi is available throughout and the comfortable lounge area comes with Cable TV, DVD home entertainment system.
The ground floor also offers underfloor heating throughout, two storage rooms and a modern bathroom with bath, shower and toilet.
The bedrooms are well equipped with beautiful exposed beams and the double rooms are have king sized beds.
The master bedroom has a wonderful balcony which catches the sun. Each bedroom has a wardrobe, drawers and bed side tables.
The upstairs bathroom offers a shower and toliet.
As with the ground floor, each area upstairs has locally controlled under floor heating.
